Was back in Chiangmai in August and September, and of course spent many hours in Happy bar. Still a great place to chill and have good conversations. Moo the little Burmese girl has disappeared and Ning can't work anymore due to a bad hand but Nuk and Kip are still there. Now the back of my head is not only in this sites pic but I'm sitting in a different seat on Google street view, faces are blurred but my daughter knew it was me and I recognized most of the other patrons and staff. Do I go there too much when I'm in Chiangmai,,,,,,,,,,NAAAH !!

Yes, an ultra friendly bar - very busy late afternoons and often thru the night. If you look at the photo on the left you cannot see me because of the large guy in orange obscuring me and Nok!

Happy Bar Is my favorite place to hang-out. The owner Kip is a doll and Nuk and Ning make great food, not to mention Moo a sweet little Burmese dek-serve. In fact if you look at the larger version of the photo on the left you can see the back of my head above the music stand with the menu on it. I must applaud you for being the only Chiangmai Thai website to even mention Happy Bar much less a pic of the back of my head.
