Nong Bua Prachaoluang (หนองบัวพระเจ้าหลวง) The name means Lotus pond of the Buddha. A natural pond which the size of 120 rai(approx. 192,000 sq.m.). Was a famous visit place in Chiang Mai. Now they are developing the area and plant more than 54 kinds of lotus to turn it to be a famous place again like in the past. เป็นหนองน้ำธรรมชาติ เนื้อที่ 102 ไร่ ตั้งอยู่ที่ หมู่ 12 ตำบลเชิงดอย อ.ดอยสะเก็ด เป็นสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวที่มีชื้่อเสียงมากในอดีตของจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ มีนกเป็ดน้ำอาศัยอยู่เป็นจำนวนมาก ปัจจุบันได้รับการพัฒนาให้เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวอีกครั้งหนึ่งโดยมีการขุดลอกสระพร้อมปลูกบัว ถึง 54 ชนิดขึ้นใหม่
