Shulamit Band Posted on December 16, 2025 at 02:28:23 We booked a tour through our hotel on Sunday December 14. A whole day visiting the blue temple, the white temple, black house and hill tribes. We don’t wish to harm the guide because he obviously did his best, but at some point we just gave up- it was impossible to understand his accent. What really upset us was the “lunch” we were given! The shabby miserable”restaurant” was beneath any standard and most certainly did not reflect the high cost of this tour. I could not touch the plate and my husband took two bites and gave up too. It was inedible and not because we cannot eat local food. It was horrible!!! We have been traveling for two weeks now and had other tours where we taken to decent proper meals that were most enjoyable, plentiful and tasty. This was sooo cheap and added to that, the tiny bag of banana chips we were given to share. The whole experience left us disappointed and angry for wasting so much money! Shame on you!
